Welcome

Why blog?

“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.” (Matt 13:44)

These jottings, scribbles, and muses will mainly have to do with the Holy Scriptures. I’m grateful for those who’ve found treasure and shared it, and my goal is for these blog posts to be of value to you, the reader, in the same way.

Wayword?

In the Bible, the term “wayward” is often used to describe someone who has strayed from the path of life (that’s us). Fortunately, the Word became flesh and dwelt among men. He lived a sinless life, died an atoning death, was buried, and rose from the grave, showing us that He is the path, or the Way, to life. By faith in Him our waywardness is redeemed, and we can practice walking in the Way of the eternal Word (Jesus Christ).

“I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them.”

Hosea 14:4

“I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 14:6
